Holy Union Associates

Holy Union Logo

An Associate is a person who responds to God's invitation to identify more closely with the Holy Union charism and mission "to be at the heart of the world revealing God's love" (Article 1, Constitutions). An associate is a Christian - married, single, or clergy - who desires an explicit and mutually acknowledged relationship with the Holy Union Sisters, without becoming a vowed member of Holy Union.

Baltimore Holy Union Associates Plan International Gathering

For over 2 years Baltimore Associates worked with the intercongregational Associates in the Baltimore- Washington area to plan the bi-annual NACAR Conference which took place in Vienna VA May 30-June 1. The Theme was: Proclaiming the Vision. The keynote speaker was Sr. Helen Prejean. Sr. Helen, a Sister of St. Joseph of Medaille and a native of Louisiana, is known internationally for her tireless work against the death penalty. She has written two books: Dead Man Walking, which was made into a highly-acclaimed movie and The Death of Innocents, An Eyewitness Account of Wrongful Executions.
