Sr. Patricia Griffith-retiring this year
Holy Union Sisters - 1960's
At the end of the school year, the entire student body of Holy Angels Regional School gathered at a mass in honor of the Holy Union Sisters. The first sisters came to Patchogue in 1923 and this year the sisters collectively celebrated almost 700 years of service. Holy Angels Regional School was originally St. Francis deSales School. Sister Patricia Griffith, SUSC, 2nd grade teacher who is retiring this year, accepted a plaque on behalf of all the Holy Union Sisters who have taught in the school. The plaque will remain in the school lobby to remind all who pass by of the dedication of the Holy Union Sisters. The message below was in the mass prgram.
