Our Mission |
In our beginnings was the spark of charism, a fire of love, kindled in the hearts of a small group of women and a young priest. This fire expressed itself in mission at the heart of a broken, dechristianized world in northern France. And the Spirit, through Jean Baptiste Debrabant, called this expression of God’s love The Holy Union. Throughout our history, our sisters faithfully shared the good news of Jesus Christ in new places and with new cultures. The call they heard continues to inflame our hearts and gives life to our Mission: to be at the heart of the world revealing God’s love. The Collegial Assembly, an international gathering held in the summer of 2005, brought us to another moment of choice for mission. Faithful to our heritage and in union with one another throughout the Congregation, we reaffirmed our life-long call to the unitive mission of Jesus Christ. Our Call Today |
