Isaiah 49: 8-15; Psalm 145; John 5: 16-30
A servant song from Isaiah in which God “says to prisoners, ‘Come out,’ and to those who are in darkness, ‘Show yourselves’… One who loves them will lead them and by springs of water will lead them…God has comforted the people and will have compassion on the suffering ones…Can a woman forget the child of her womb?...I will never forget you.”
What do you personally need? What imprisons you? Where is darkness in your life? Where do you need/want to be led? What comfort do you need/want? God will not leave you orphaned. How will you respond? You might imagine this planet as the womb of God with all of its people your siblings, waiting to be born again into life everlasting. You might rest and just be rocked in this womb of God.
