2024 Leadership Conference of Women Religious Assembly

From August 13th through the 16th, 503 Leaders and 248 Collaborators from women religious congregations spanning 13 countries met in Orlando for the Leadership Conference of Women Religious (LCWR) Annual Assembly, featuring the theme “Our Time is Holy: Who Then Shall We Be?”  Our US Area Leadership Team, Sr. Kathleen Corrigan and Sr. Mary Lou Sullivan, represented our Sisters at the Assembly.  The conference focused on the future of both religious life as well as the challenges we are facing as a people, a nation, and a world.

We stand at the threshold of “a new era, struggling to be born”, as we are “bequeathing a legacy for others to use in ways that perhaps we cannot foresee.”  These are times filled with hope even as we recognize the challenges which face us all.
