Celebrating Our 2026 Jubilarians
September, 2026
On September 19th, the Holy Union Sisters gathered at Our Lady of Peace Parish at St. Patrick Church in Somerset, MA to celebrate our eight Jubilarians for 2026. Celebrating seventy-five years were Sisters Therese Theroux, Barbara Walsh, Patricia Mulryan, and Louise Gabrielle Bourget. Celebrating seventy years was Sister Gretchen Marlatt. And celebrating sixty years were Sisters Mary Lou Sullivan, Nancy Stiles, and Paula Coelho.
The church was filled with Holy Union Sisters, Associates, and friends as well as clergy all of whom have had long term connections to Holy Union. Father David Costa, a Holy Union Associate, celebrated the Mass, and Sister Tess Horvath delivered a meaningful reflection.
As is tradition, our Jubilarians renewed their vows during the ceremony and were prayed over by the entire congregation. Following Mass everyone was invited to join in a banquet in the adjoining parish hall and enjoy a video slideshow created by Sr. Mary Lou Simcoe of the lives of each Jubilarians.
