Memorial Day Prayer Service for our Deceased Sisters
On Friday, May 26th several sisters gathered at St. Francis Cemetery in Pawtucket, RI for a prayer service for our deceased sisters. Present were sisters form the Filmore St. and Anchor Bay communities in Rhode Island, including Sisters Bea Rogers, Rita Theresa Goulet, Connie Gagnon, Una Davey, Ann Kernan, Gert Pare, and Sr. Cecelia Echo Fukah, one of our visiting sisters from Cameroon. The Filmore St. sisters hosted a lunch for all and then held a prayer service at St. Francis Cemetery in Pawtucket, which included visiting individual graves and blessing each with holy water. It was a beautiful Spring day filled with sun and warm memories. Please remember our deceased sisters in your prayers. Below are pictures from the day.
