Sr. Cecilia Fukah Egho Renews her Vows

June 24th the Feast of the Birth of St. John the Baptist, patron of our Founder, Father Jean Baptiste Debrabant, is a major Holy Union feast and the day our sisters in Cameroon who are moving toward perpetual profession renew their temporary vows for a specific period of time.  Sister Cecilia, who is here on holiday from Divine Word College in Iowa, renewed her vows for 2 years that day. Cecilia spent a Day of Recollection in preparation at Rock St. on June 23rd.

Cecilia renewed her vows during a Mass that was concelebrated by two young Jesuit priests, Rev. Jean Amegble, SJ from Togo and newly ordained Rev. Alcidio Tembe, SJ from Mozambique, both students at Boston College and witnessed by her host community and the Fall River area sisters. A festive dinner concluded the joyous celebration.
